The warmest decade ever recorded was 2001–2010, and
according to a monthly analysis by NASA scientists, January 2017
was the third warmest January on record. It was 0.92 degrees
Celsius warmer than the mean January temperature from
1951 to 1980. That may not sound like much, but even one degree
can have an impact on Earth. Warmer temperatures affect the
